Four Juventus players set to be cut to lower wage bill

At least four Juventus players have been highlighted as candidates to leave in the summer as the Old Lady look to significantly reduce their wage bill.

The Bianconeri have moved to a more sustainable direction following their chaos of last season, needing to resolve their delicate financial situation after the exit of Andrea Agnelli and his board back in November 2022.

Juventus, under the guidance of Crisitano Giuntoli, hardly invested in the last two transfer windows but are expected to shake up their squad this summer, planning to pick up some reinforcements ahead of their return to the Champions League.

Page 13 of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how four Juventus players have been identified as likely to leave in the summer in order to help lower the club’s wage bill, with the goal being to reduce it by around €30-35m. The Old Lady currently pay €126m gross per year in salaries.

The first to leave is Paul Pogba, who hasn’t featured since September following his four-year doping ban. His exit will save €8m net per season, although he has been on the minimum salary since his suspension.

Also set to leave this summer is Arkadiusz Milik with his €3.5m salary, Alex Sandro with his €6m salary and Daniele Rugani, who earns €3.5m net.
