Bayern Munich Launches Aggressive Bid to Trump Chelsea in Pursuit of PSG Transfer Target

Estevao Willian from Palmeiras is catching the eye of top European clubs and becoming the latest standout talent from South America. The latest updates on the teenager shed light on Paris Saint-Germain’s position in the race for his signature.

According to a recent report, PSG are among the clubs that have inquired about the 17-year-old, known as Messinho, but no clubs have made a formal offer yet. Nonetheless, there’s new information on this saga.

GOAL Brasil reports that Bayern Munich are planning to outbid Chelsea for Willian. The German club’s offer is expected to reach €60 million in total, between the fixed fee and add-ons. Chelsea have already offered €35 million fixed plus €25 million in add-ons.

Palmeiras expect to receive the net value of the release clause (€45 million), which means the interested clubs will have to pay the taxes for the deal, taking the overall fee to around €55 million.

It’ll be intriguing to see if PSG ramps up their pursuit of the youngster as we head into the summer months or if any other team tries to get ahead in the race.
