Look of the Day for 5/8: We like a big night for T.J. vs. Knicks

Daniel Gafford crushed his points + rebounds prop on Tuesday night to give us a sweat-free Look of the Day winner. Let's keep the profit train rolling with another NBA player prop for Wednesday night's playoff game between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers.

Look of the Day: T.J. McConnell over 10.5 points (-102 FanDuel)

Tyrese Haliburton had no interest in scoring in Game 1, but T.J. McConnell picked up the slack with 18 points on 9-16 shooting. The backup point guard now has 38 points over his last two playoff games, and he's played at least 22 minutes in both of them.

That's a notable step up from the 16.8 minutes he played in the first five games of the postseason. Rick Carlisle is starting to trust McConnell's ability to run the offense and score inside more and more as the playoffs roll on, and there's no reason he should go away from the veteran PG in Game 2.

The Knicks were more than happy to let McConnell go one-on-one with little help. New York would rather contain Indiana's shooters than limit McConnell's driving ability, so the mid-range opportunities should be there all night.

McConnell is brimming with confidence right now, and he should see another 20-plus minutes on Wednesday night.
