This has to be among the funniest possessions by any team this season. This was a competitive game at the time of the play as the Bulls are actively defending home-court for the 9-10 Play-In matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks are a solid team that has been one of the best defenses in the NBA, but even they had no way of stopping Craig and Drummond from scoring if they just communicated with each other.

The game is 101-95 at the end of the third quarter, with Craig and Drummond having combined for 18 minutes of play off the bench. Both players also ended the third quarter with total stats of four points and two rebounds.

Bulls Expected To Switch Their Roster Up In The Summer

Nikola Vucevic is already signed on for the next 3 seasons, but DeMar DeRozan is heading into free agency. Unless a cap space team like the Detroit Pistons makes a run at DeRozan, the Bulls should be able to retain the talented forward.

The biggest change should be Zach LaVine, as the talented swingman is expected to end his seven-year stint with the franchise and be traded this summer. He was supposed to be moved over the winter, with the Detroit Pistons expected to acquire him, but injuries prompted the deal to be scuppered.

LaVine averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists this season. The Bulls have been noticeably better and more functional since LaVine's injury as well, going 27-26 without him. As a result, the team has little choice but to improve the roster by using an asset like LaVine. With Lonzo Ball also expected to return to the court next season, the Bulls could find a way to return to relevance in the NBA.
