The Florida State Seminoles played their first game without Jordan Travis on the season, and it was as shaky as could have been expected to start the game. The Seminoles got down 12-0 to the Florida Gators early. A late-half touchdown helped the team cut the deficit, and it was Trey Benson who did so.

To open the second half, Benson once again got in the end zone, this time from 36 yards out as he helped the Seminoles take the lead for the first time of the night.

The lead wasn't safe, though, as the Gators reclaimed the edge with a field goal, though the Seminoles did that same thing with a field goal right back.

With the game winding down, the Seminoles got the ball back with a chance to ice the game. Still, they had to wind down the clock or put points on the board. Well, who other than Trey Benson? He took a 26-yard run to the house, which gave the Seminoles a 24-15 lead.

If this didn't give the Seminoles enough of a lead or comfort over the Gators, Kalen DeLoach joined the party, intercepting Max Brown to put the game fully away a couple of plays later.

The Seminoles moved to 12-0 on the season heading into their matchup against Louisville on Saturday in a quest for the ACC Championship.
