Suggestions for Blu Ray movies?

I've been trying to get Iron Man on Blu Ray the last couple of weeks but it hasn't happened. I guess I should've entered one of the Yardbarker trivia contests to win a copy because I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE IN CINCINNATI. I've been to the store 4 times and they keep telling me they'll have it, but I haven't got jack. I have a Blu Ray player and no Blu Ray disks -- it's like peanut butter with no jelly. In fact, I have two Blu Ray players and no disks. I wanted to start the collection off with Iron Man. I saw half of it on the plane and thought it looked really good so I've been set on getting it. It's the only movie out there now that I'm interested in, but I'll take suggestions if you have any. At this point after the four trips I may have to go in another direction. If there are some good ones out there let me know, maybe I'll be able to find those here.

Iron Man is really good so you should keep trying to get that one. The Hulk was pretty good but I didn't think it was as good as Iron Man. It's good to see your doing better though Keith and I can't wait to see you on the field again next year.

check out like best buy or target or walmart. if nothing else you could order them offline but it'd be a few weeks before you got em. the strangers is out pn blu ray and is pretty good. so is american gangster.

Pretty sure The Dark Knight is coming out soon. If you haven't seen that yet Keith I strongly suggest it. I also suggest all of the Planet Earth collections from the Discovery Channel. They are awesome.

whats up keith. i'm a steelers fan but I hate to see players get hurt like that. I hope for a speedy recovery for you. Anything by Guillermo del Toro is fantastic in Blu Ray/ HD.
His movies are always visually stunning. I'd suggest Hellboy for starters.
If you want some more serious stuff thats not all out action I'd suggest Pan's Labyrinth by del Toro.

For more basic drama/war/action there is Band of Brothers the TV series. Its nothing short of fantastic.

Get crank, The new Rambo, any one of the Die Hards. Basically get all sick action movies you will not be disappointed with them on Blu-ray

Try eBay. I've gotten a few Blu-Rays online for cheaper then in stores.

And I'd get 300, Transformers, Hulk, Casino Royale, Matrix if they're on it, and pre-order the Dark Knight.

Anything on Blu Ray....it doesn't matter what it is, its AWESOME! HD makes watching anything exciting...I even watch curling, aka shuffle board on ice, when its in HD.

110% casino royale. it looks so great. also - transformers, planet earth. those are my suggestions for the moment. pirates of the caribbean was too tough for me to keep an eye on casually, so i nixed it. the departed is pretty good, but if you want to show off how awesome your bluray player is, get planet earth or galapogos. nature stuff, sure, but SO WORTH IT.

If you're interested at all in space stuff, get When We Left Earth: The NASA Missions. It's kind of nerdy, sure, but it was really interesting. Also I second The Departed, it was a great movie.

Looks like you got alot of good suggestions on how to get your Blu Ray movies. I would love to be watching them with you. I am so glad your surgery went well. I am sure you will come back better than ever. You know from my last post that I am a Steeler fan. I hate to see all these injuries in football but we all know that this is one of the unfortunate possibilities of this great game of football. I know that Hines Ward was not trying to cheap shot you in anyway. He plays hard, the way guys should be playing this game. This is the way he has played since day one with the Sleelers. He always plays hard and physical all the time. This is a reason why he has been in the NFL for a decade now while many other players have come and gone. Everybody in the NFL should play hard all the time and be a team player like Hines Ward. You can learn alot from this experience, Keith. Your Cincy teammates certainly could learn alot from Hines Ward. I look forward to seeing you back on that field suited up looking good in your uniform and having a friendly rivalry with Hines Ward and the Steelers. I look forward to following your NFL career and I really think there is something special about you, Keith. You certainly have got a place in my heart. I hope we get to meet each other someday. I would love to meet you during the offseason here in Florida someday down the road. Your parents came to help you out and that is so awesome. My parents are visiting me here in Lakeland for the next 2 weeks and then I am going back to the Pittsburgh area with them to see more family and friends in the Burgh and watch the Steelers, of course, and I see they play Cincy in I believe a Thursday night game. I will be watching. I wish you were playing but I know you will get your chance next season and who knows maybe someday you will be in a Steeler uniform looking better than ever.
