I'm a Cincinnati Bengal!

This is an absolutely surreal experience. I am numb right now. I'm not sure what to do - jump up and down or cry - I'm just so excited about being a Cincinnati Bengal. Coach Marvin Lewis made the call. When my phone rang it was an unknown number and I had some friends calling before that so I wasn't sure if I should answer it. I was thrilled to get the call. My agent called after that and told me Carson Palmer was jumping up and down. I will be too - I'm a Cincinnati Bengal!

10 minutes between picks really makes a difference, doesn't it? By the time Keith was mic'd for sound and finally took a seat, the Falcons had already selected Matt Ryan with the third pick in the draft. Things were moving so quickly (relatively speaking) that I don't think a single person had grabbed any food at this point for fear that they would miss something. The fast moving NFL Draft? Odd.

Keith, welcome! Give us Bengal fans something to root for! One thing to realize in watcing ESPN's Draft Day coverage was a seemingly 5-10 second delay....so when they showed the Draft Day "Celebration"....it was probably 5-10 seconds "behind"...and made it 'look' like the Cincy crowd was dead...saw that a few times later when a player was picked...and 10 seconds later they jumped up and down.

Welcome, I think you're going to like Cincinnati. We need positive players like yourself to help change the attitude and perception. Many fans were kind of bumed we didn't get Ellis, but we got our DT in the 3rd. Use this as motivation to make fans glad you fell to 9th, and make the Patiots regret trading down. Do your best to get into camp early, hold outs generally only net a little more money, but in the long run it costs you more.

you are just what the doctor ordered. the bengals haven't been the strongest defense in the league, and they add a great player like you, that should help them immensly. not only that, you seem like a very classy guy to an organization that doesn't have the best reputation fot them. you can be a team leader to end all of these criminals and screaming wide receivers(not to mention any names, nor is it necessary) best of luck in the future

Keith, I just wanted to say like so many other Bengals fans probably have "Welcome to the Jungle!" Never doubt the intensity of the fans here because we love to root for hard chargers like you. I look forward to your presence on the defense. It's an amazing feat to be drafted and I can't wait until you make your first pro bowl. Be strong and enjoy the ride.
